Encrypted client records
Client contact details and notes are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before they reach the database — on top of the hosting provider’s own encryption.
Append-only audit trail
Every action is logged and cannot be edited after the fact. Approved documents lock against changes. Export the whole trail to CSV whenever you want.
No AI without consent
No AI touches your data today. When AI-assisted features ship, they will be limited to clients whose consent you have recorded — consent capture is built in now.

Is it really free?
Yes. LegalPilot is free while in development — no payment method is collected and nothing is charged. If paid plans are introduced later, existing users get clear notice first, and your data stays exportable either way.
Does LegalPilot use AI on my data?
No. There is no AI processing in the product today. The per-client AI-consent field exists so future AI-assisted features can be limited to clients who have consented — nothing runs against your data now, and your content is never used to train models.
What happens to my data?
It stays yours. Client contact details and notes are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, records are scoped to your account, and your audit trail is exportable as CSV. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
